Dolphy starred on a couple of DZRH programs in the '50's. as mentioned in the following articles:
"Listeners of Standard-Vacuum Oil Company's top radio comedy show, "Kulang Sa Pito" are treated to a varied fare of gags, songs and satire with the inimitable antics of Dolphy and Panchito every Sunday night from 7:30 to 8:00 over DZRH. Photo at right shows Panchito (Panchito Alba), second from right, in baby dress, and Dolphy, third from left, going through one of their rollicking routines with Teloy Cosme, also in youthful attire (first from left). The rest of the cast appearing above are Ric Gutierrez, second from left, and the only lady, Tina Loy. Script and direction are Eddie Ilagan, with Danny Holmsen and his Combo supplying the musical numbers and accompaniments."
"In 1958, the first radio amateur singing contest was launched on DZRH. It was called the "Purico Hour" after the famous lard brand that sponsored the show. Dolphy and Panchito hosted the show. The Purico Hour became Tawag ng Tanghalan in 1962 and started its television version."
