Holiday ceasefire



Epektibo na simula bukas ang holiday ceasefire o suspension of offensive military operations na idineklara ng gobyerno sa new people's army. 

ayon kay pangulong noynoy aquino, hanggang January 2 ang tigil-putukan o kabuuang labing-walong araw. 
noong nakaraang taon, 19-days ang idineklarang somo ng malakanyang kaugnay ng pagdiriwang ng kapaskuhan at bagong taon.  

sabi ni pangulong aquino, inaprubahan niya ang 18-days holiday truce base sa rekumindasyon ng presidential adviser on the peace process.  


samantala, inaasahan na mananatili sa defense mode ang armed forces of the Philippines para maiwasan ang pagsasamantala ng mga rebeldeng npa habang umiiral ang unilateral ceasefire.
