Online income opportunity for Filipinos everywhere

Here's something all internet users can take some time to ponder, and then work on when they have the time.

Filipino internet-business expert Jomar Hilario gives seminars and webinars about how we can take advantage of the power of the Net to be in the same level as those living and working in more advanced countries.

Well, everyone knows the Net has no boundaries. Earning a steady income on the Net also has now boundaries. You don't have to be in the US or Canada or Europe to be an internet entrepreneur. You just have to be determined to learn and apply what you learn.

Here's a link for some of Jomar Hilario's advice blogs. Take time, or set aside some time, to visit. Best wishes!

China urges Philippines to avoid complicating disputes

BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- China urged the Philippines to avoid taking any action that could complicate the South China Sea issue, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
The comments come after the Philippines decided to take its disputes with China to a UN tribunal.
At a daily press briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said that relevant disputes should be solved through negotiations between sovereign states directly involved.

Andy Vital writes about the Atimonan Massacre

Honor is something men in uniform cherish throughout their career. At least, the good ones do. What happens when such a tragic incident as the Atimonan Massacre (or shootout or rubout, as others may call it) continues to be in a blur for a long time, and justice eludes the victims? Andy Vital writes about it on OpinYon News Magazine.

Anak Bayan release: Noynoy's Tubbataha statements indicate a whitewash is in the works - youth groups

Youth groups are assailing the statements made by President Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III over the weekend as 'indicative' of a whitewash of the U.S warship Guardian's grounding and destruction of a part of the protectedTubbataha Reef.

While claiming that the U.S Navy would be penalized, Aquino claimed that the apology issued by the U.S Navy showed 'sensitivity' on the part of the American military towards Filipinos. He added that since there were no scheduled military exercises in which the erring warship was involved, he saw no reason to involve the controversial Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA).

"Sensitivity? What sensitivity? Mas sensitive pa yung coral kumpara sa mga U.S troops (The corals are more sensitive than U.S troops). They have no respect for the Philippine national heritage, environment, and people" said Vencer Crisostomo, national chairperson of Anakbayan.
