Inatasan na ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang presidential task force on coco levy fund na bumuo ng rekumendasyon kaugnay ng tamang disposisyon sa bilyun-bilyong pisong pondo.
Ginawa ni deputy presidential spokesman abigail valte ang pahayag matapos magdesisyon ang Supreme Court hinggil sa hatian sa coco levy fund.
Sa pinal na desisyon ng korte suprema, 700-million shares of stock ng San Miguel Corp na halagang P52.5-billion ang ini-award sa gubyerno para ipamahagi sa mga magsasaka.
Sa briefing sa palasyo, sinabi ni deputy presidential spokesman abigail valte na dapat kumilos na ang task force para malaman kung sino ang mangangasiwa at kung saan ilalaan ag nasabing pondo.
Sinabi ni Valte na isasapinal na ng task force ang rekumendasyon sa Pangulong Aquino para sa costudy at pamamahagi ng coco levy funds.
"I have been advised that the task force would be reconvening on October 5 to finalized the recommendation bec. the President ask on the report of recommendation on the coco levy fund in light of the ruling of the Supreme Court," ayon pa kay Valte.
Pero, tikom pa ang bibig ni Pangulong Aquino sa isyu ng coco levy dahil nasa pangalan ni presidential uncle at dating ambassador danding cojuangco ang halos 100-B pesos na pondo. (FLORANTE ROSALES)
