New Treasurer

HINIRANG ni pangulong noynoy Aquino si finance undersecretary rosalia de Leon bilang bagong national treasurer.

Nanumpa na kanina kay finance sec. Cesar purisima si de Leon - na pumalit kay Roberto Tan na itinalaga naman bilang executive director ng world bank sa Washington DC.

Bilang finance undersecretary - kumatawan si de leon sa iba't ibang mga multilateral at regional financial fora at binalangkas din niya ang debt financing strategies ng gobyerno.

Dahil sa appointment ni de Leon bilang national treasurer -binalasa ang ilang posisyon sa dept. of finance. Si finance asst. secretary Maria edita tan ang papalit bilang officer in charge sa international finance group na dating hawak ni de leon.

Magiging OIC naman si Finance Usec. Carlo Carag revenue integrity protection service na binakante ni Tan.
Si de leon ay graduate ng U-P College of economics.
